During a pleasant reading rehearsal of the play... ...the theater suddenly shook! A 5.3 magnitude earthquake shook the Big Island, but the theater was still intact! The the show must go on! Before and after the Quake!!
After a short reading, everyone tried their best to recreate the entire play as an improvisation! Everyone had a lot of fun utilizing the microphone for sound effects. With a few minutes to spare, our juggling skills were put to the test!
Monday everyone came prepared as The Bear We growled, snorted, and walked on all fours! The Cast huddles together to stay warm, even though the room was a comfortable temperature. Everyone takes a turn, playing each part, be it a man or woman. The readers are becoming more accustomed to the play's format as director Lee Michael Walczuk, encourages them to read with vigor.
