All Shook up!

During a pleasant reading rehearsal of the play...

...the theater suddenly shook!

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake shook the Big Island, but the theater was still intact! The the show must go on!

Before and after the Quake!!

wow! Good job in having rehearsals. my parents aren't letting me out of the house until the whole thing blows over. I'm going through the play, though...in fact, I think this atmosphere is perfect for the show. :)

In a way I am happy that this storm is happening at this time, for one I have a personal issue in need of healing in my life- water can be cleansing or destructive or soothing..-- and second it brings the perfert air and descriptions to thunder for the end of the first act..But I am sorry it keep me at home, hope rehersal was great... .oh and I was thinking about page 56 and 56 -part of the kings monolougue, I think it ends right after he states that we humans know nothing. And I believe that, I've questioned our oh so "high" intelligence, like do we know everything and just not have access to it or neglect to open our eyes that wide or our understanding just cant go that deep? Or do we know nothing and just think we know things because our our minds are curious and imaginative? From experience,, right when I think I get the grasp of an idea or understand something I realize that I know nothing. I always find another side to that idea or object or person: there are so many different possiblities, everything has so many different truths to it, virtually: nothing is a lie because everything resides in everything. any way I could go on forever about my ideas, I would rather talk in person it has more power, you can feel the things not displayed in these syllables. So when the king is having a profound deep moment I always feel like clapping but it wouldn't fit there well it would be cool if we snapped our fingers because it is like poetry in motion and it should be recognized.
